With this speech Barack Obama introduced himself to many people for the first time. He told us how the opportunities offered in the United States benefited his himself, parents and grand parents. This awesome speech became the highlight of the 2004 Democratic National Convention as he outlined major issues and reinforced that with hope and hard work, we can change the nation for the better.
“We've been asked to pause for a reality check. We've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope. But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope.”
